The family-friendly event Meet-A-Machine takes place this Saturday where youngsters can get an up close look at a wide variety of large machines.
The free event begins run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday outside the WFCU Centre.
Hosted by the city's Children's Services Department, included will be machines of all sizes, including emergency vehicles, construction equipment, military trucks, buses, forestry trucks, race cars, tow trucks and more.
A sensory-friendly hour is also being offered from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. through Autism Ontario for those who wish to enjoy the event without the noise, lights and additional interactive elements to the displays. Registration is required at 416-246-9592 ext. 331.
